Part-Time Custodian

Randstad is currently seeking a Part-Time Custodian for a local church in Milwaukee. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the building, grounds, and equipment to ensure the physical environment supports the mission of the congregation. Customer service and light office duties required.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

• General Maintenance & Operations:
  Perform general maintenance and minor repairs for facilities and equipment. Routinely inspect facilities, notify the Executive Director of needs, take corrective action, and manage outside vendors.
• Safety & Security:
  Ensure a safe environment and maintain familiarity with all safety/security procedures and equipment.
• Event Setups:
  Coordinate with leadership (Director of Engagement, Executive Director, Youth Educator, and Office & School Administrator) to set up rooms for events (e.g., weddings, B'nei Mitzvah, school events). AV/tech equipment operation is a plus.
• Facility Cleanliness:
  Maintain cleanliness across all indoor and outdoor areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and school spaces. Manage trash, recycling, and supply replenishment (paper products, soap).
• General Office Support:
  Run errands (e.g., hardware store runs) and perform other duties as assigned to support Temple operations.
