Overview
Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.
Responsibilities- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs all plant equipment in a safe and efficient working order to minimize downtime.
- Works the night shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) on a rotating schedule.
- Embraces and follows the Beliefs and Values of Stryten Energy and adheres to work and safety rules with required personal protective equipment.
- Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and water system problems on all plant equipment and facility using prints when available.
- Performs all assigned preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment and facility.
- Accurately completes all assigned maintenance work orders using the computerized CMMS system.
- Maintains product quality and personnel safety while performing maintenance.
- Maintains housekeeping, cleanliness, and organization of the Maintenance Department as instructed by the Supervisor.
- Reports unsafe conditions to the Supervisor for immediate action.
- The Supervisor may assign duties not listed here when production requirements dictate or when there is not enough regular work to fill the workday.
- Minimum five (5) years of on-the-job experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
- Or minimum three (3) years at Stryten Energy in Maintenance Utility position and meet qualifications of that position.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to lift 90 pounds.
- Good attendance and performance history.
- Motivated self-starter able to work productively alone and in groups to solve problems.
- Demonstrated competence in at least three of the following areas:
Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Welding, HVAC. - Must have own tools.
- Must demonstrate basic computer skills needed to use CMMS system.
- Must complete forklift driving training program.
- Must complete scissors lift driving training program.
- Must learn proper lifting skills of up to 10,000 lbs. with a forklift or crane.
- Must complete a Lockout/Tagout training program.
