Janitorial Cleaner - Empleado de limpieza; Brooklyn Park

Overview

Harvard Maintenance is hiring for a Cleaner. This role includes basic cleaning of common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trash, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. Multiple shifts are available, including full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.

• Responsible for all basic cleaning
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
• Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Performs additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related cleanup work for trash and restroom concerns
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites
• Must be willing to work assigned hours

• Salary: USD $18.77 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday 5pm–9pm and one Saturday or Sunday per month for 3 hours
