DescriptionJoin the team that brings our event menus to life. As a Grill & Fryer Event Support team member, your primary responsibility will be operating grills and fryers at a variety of events across the Twin Cities, including weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with food in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In addition to cooking responsibilities, you will support event setup, warehouse preparation, and occasional delivery needs.
Key Responsibilities Grill & Fryer Operations (Primary Focus)- Set up, operate, and break down grills and deep fryers at event sites
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company standards
- Monitor food quality, temperature, and timing during service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cooking station
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Coordinate with the culinary team and Event Captains to ensure smooth service
- Assist with the setup and teardown of food stations and equipment
- Supporting and presentation, including platter preparation
- Help maintain the flow of service during events
- Clean and reset event spaces after service
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment and food items
- Help prepare orders for upcoming events
- Support occasional deliveries to event locations as needed
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working with grills, fryers, and hot equipment
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Previous grill, fryer, or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to various event locations across the Twin Cities
This role involves physical labor in both indoor and outdoor event settings. You will be working in environments with heat from grills and fryers, and may be exposed to varying weather conditions depending on the event.
Schedule- Day, evening, and occasional night shifts available
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Typical shifts range from 8–12 hours
- Steady opportunities available during peak season (April through November)
