Description
- You will work full-time, generally Monday through Friday.
- During high-traffic holiday periods, the position is scheduled according to Company standards; the supervisor must approve schedules.

As a Porter/Groundskeeper, you are at the forefront of maintaining a safe, clean, and attractive environment for our employees and residents. You are responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the property, typically focused on the community’s public spaces and amenities used by our residents, such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, recreation areas, fountains, business centers, parking areas, and refuse areas.
The How… While prior experience in groundskeeping, janitorial or custodial positions is helpful for your success, it’s unnecessary. We will show you how to maintain the property to the company’s high standards of cleanliness. Your focus is on keeping property grounds free of trash, waste, and refuse throughout the day, maintaining landscaping and watering as needed, and performing periodic maintenance on all common areas of the property as scheduled.

- The Company provides at least 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year in states with no state mandate.
** To be eligible for holiday pay, employees must have completed 90 days of employment and worked the last scheduled day before and the first day after the holiday.

Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required, and a minimum of 1 year of work experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, or other service industry environment
