As a Maintenance Supervisor at Ryerson, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, ensuring facilities and equipment are operational, safe, and well maintained.

• Supervising and training staff and ensuring training is effectively carried out and oversee completion of training checklists.
• Planning and coordinating maintenance projects.
• Preventative and corrective maintenance using CMMS, i.e. RyMaint.
• Safety and compliance
• Administrative tasks such as tracking inventory and supplies and liaising with contractors and vendors for specialized work.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Diagnosing technical issues and providing practical solutions for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or structural problems.
• Review plant supply inventory and advise purchasing when levels are low
• Communicates with other departments within the facility, as well as other locations
• Follow and enforce CBA and Memorandum of Agreement

High School Diploma / GED is required;
College Education preferred. One (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience preferred. Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. The successful candidate is expected to develop proficiency in SAP as part of their role.

Salary: $64,855.53 - $97,283.29. A starting salary higher than $64,855.53 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
