Environmental Services Aide

Location: 2800 10th Ave Receiving Dock, Minneapolis, MN

Shift: Permanent Nights, 8‑hour shift, every other weekend, 16 hours per week.

As an Environmental Services Aide at Allina Health, your attention to detail helps create a safe, welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your work supports healing, enhances the patient experience, and keeps our facilities clean, organized, and healthy.

• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect all areas of the healthcare facility, including patient rooms, operating rooms, exam rooms, treatment rooms, care centers, and public areas.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and changing bed linens.
• Operate floor‑cleaning equipment (e.g., auto scrub machine).
• Collect and transport solid and infectious waste following safety precautions and PPE guidelines.
• Collect soiled linen and manage linen inventory, including stocking clean linen in linen rooms and departments.
• Identify and report potential or actual safety hazards, building items, furnishings, and equipment requiring repair or replacement.
• Maintain cleaning cart, closets, and supplies organized, clean, and stocked.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or GED required; 0–2 years of environmental services experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and up to 25lbs frequently.
• Must meet required functional competencies; 6‑month or 12‑month experience may qualify.

$20.95 to $27.37 per hour, based on experience, education, and union agreement. Shift, weekend, and other differentials may apply.
