Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a dedicated Custodian for a local church in Edina, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and values supporting a welcoming environment for staff, members, and visitors.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Pay: $18.00–$24.00/hour, based on experience

Custodial Duties:

• Perform daily cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility
• Set up and tear down rooms for meetings, events, and church activities
• Complete minor maintenance and repair work, including light electrical, plumbing, painting, and door adjustments
• Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC and boilers
• Refill supplies and respond to facility needs as they arise
• Assist with seasonal grounds maintenance and snow removal
• Secure the building and complete safety checks at the end of each day

Skills and experience

• Experience in custodial, janitorial, facilities, or building maintenance work
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, tools, and building systems
• Ability to perform minor repairs and general maintenance tasks
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong customer service mindset and willingness to support staff, volunteers, and visitors

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Climb ladders up to 40 feet
• Operate equipment such as lawn mowers, snow blowers, tractors, and church vehicles

Additional Requirements

• Valid Minnesota driver's license
• Current auto insurance and reliable transportation for occasional job-related travel
