Facilities Technician

Walser Automotive Group is seeking a Facilities Technician to support our dealerships and service centers across the Midwest. In this on-site role, you'll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot building and equipment issues, and complete repairs on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general facility systems. You'll help keep our locations safe, clean, and customer-ready, responding quickly to work orders and urgent requests. Working closely with dealership leaders and vendors, you'll prioritize projects, follow strict safety standards, and contribute to a professional, welcoming environment that reflects Walser's commitment to integrity and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on building systems, grounds, and service equipment across dealership locations
• Troubleshoot and complete repairs for HVAC, lighting, plumbing, minor electrical, and general building issues
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify safety, cleanliness, and maintenance needs
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or larger facility projects
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests to minimize disruption to sales and service operations
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and basic inventory of tools and supplies
• Support setup, moves, and light construction or remodeling tasks as needed
• Follow all safety, OSHA, and company compliance standards while working on-site
• Collaborate with dealership leaders to prioritize facility needs and project timelines
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, exterior upkeep, and lot presentation
