About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep operations at International Packaging (IPI) running at peak performance. In this hands‑on role, you’ll maintain and repair production and packaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventative maintenance that keeps production flowing efficiently to meet expected run rates .
You’ll work closely with the Production and Warehouse teams to minimize downtime, ensure safety, and support continuous improvement across the facility. This position is ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in making sure everything runs smoothly.

- Position Type:
Full-Time (On‑site) - Schedule:
1st (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) or 2nd Shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm), with overtime as needed

- This role is primarily scheduled during assigned shift hours. From time to time, business needs may require work during evenings, weekends, or overtime periods to support production demands, peak workloads, or client commitments.
What You’ll Do
Maintenance & Repair
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on packaging machinery, production lines, and facility systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues to identify root causes and implement timely corrective actions .
- Adjust, calibrate, and replace machine parts to minimize downtime and ensure quality performance.
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment, upgrades, and process improvements.
Operational Support
- Support production changeovers to ensure equipment is properly set up and operating efficiently to meet expected run rates.
- Partner with Production, Warehouse, and Leadership teams to prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify, create, and maintain capital equipment, repair parts, and preventative maintenance plans.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and communication between shifts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for increased uptime, quality, and efficiency.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout and OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work environment.
- Participate in safety training and initiatives to promote a culture of proactive safety awareness.

Qualifications
- Required:
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or printing environment.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and work orders.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
