SUMMARYThe Warehouse & Repair Lead plays an important role in ensuring our clients' trade show exhibit properties are organized, maintained, prepared and ready to perform when and where they are needed.
Approximately 70% of this role is focused on warehouse operations and logistics, including coordinating inbound and outbound exhibit properties, maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing exhibits for upcoming shows, and working closely with our Client Services and Production teams to ensure client needs and deadlines are met.
The remaining portion of the role includes hands-on maintenance and repair of exhibit properties, including basic woodworking, laminate repair, crate construction, hardware replacement, assembly and other work required to keep client assets functional and show ready.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Warehouse Operations & Logistics- Coordinate the receiving, preparation, staging, shipping and storage of client exhibit properties and related materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure exhibit components are properly checked in, organized, and stored.
- Work closely with Client Services and Production to understand upcoming show needs, priorities and deadlines.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including loading/unloading trucks, staging shipments, and completing required documentation.
- Set up and test-fit exhibit properties for upcoming shows, internal quality checks and client previews.
- Inspect exhibit components, graphics, hardware and crates to ensure properties are complete, functional and show ready.
- Perform basic repairs and modifications, including woodworking, laminate repair, hardware replacement, crate building and general exhibit maintenance.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, forklifts and other warehouse equipment required to complete the work.
- Communicate proactively with teammates about inventory issues, damage, shipping concerns or other items that could impact a client project or show.
- Adapt to changing schedules, priorities and client needs in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.
- Support client-facing exhibit viewings and occasional onsite or trade show needs as needed.
A successful Warehouse & Repair Lead:
- Ensures client exhibit properties are complete, organized, functional and ready when they need to ship.
- Maintains accurate inventory and knows where client assets are located and what condition they are in.
- Anticipates potential problems and communicates them before they become show-site emergencies.
- Balances multiple projects and changing priorities without losing attention to detail.
- Take ownership of their work while collaborating closely with the broader team.
- Approaches problems with resourcefulness and a willingness to find solutions.
- Contributes ideas and experiences that make the warehouse and our processes better over time.
- Represents Nimlok North professionally with clients, vendors, and partners.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, exhibit, production or related experience strongly preferred.
- Experience coordinating inbound and outbound freight is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with woodworking, cabinetry, exhibit fabrication, laminate, construction, maintenance or similar repair work required.
- Ability to read blueprints and detailed assembly drawings.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools is required.
- Forklift experience preferred; ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
