2nd shift Operating Engineer

Our client, a leading facilities management and building operations company , is seeking an Operating Engineer 3 to join their team. As an Operating Engineer 3 , you will be part of the Engineering and Facilities Operations Department supporting the Building Operations and Maintenance Team . The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills ,
excellent problem-solving abilities , and strong attention to detail , which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operating Engineer 3

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay Range: $30.00 - $36.00/hour

• Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders on building systems and equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.

• Operate and monitor building equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance.

• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and operational records.

• Support building automation systems while collaborating with maintenance and operations teams.

• 3+ years of experience with a degree OR 5+ years of experience in a high-rise building and/or data center environment.

• Strong experience troubleshooting HVAC and electrical systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and work order management.

• EPA 608 or EPA 609 Certification preferred.
