Relate Search has partnered with a national Food & Beverage manufacturer to identify an experienced Maintenance Manager for its Rochester-Austin, Minnesota area operation. This key leadership role will oversee maintenance and reliability within a low-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment, with responsibility for improving equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting continued operational growth. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on leadership approach, strong technical maintenance expertise, and a proven ability to develop teams and improve reliability in fast-paced manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all plant maintenance and reliability activities to maximize equipment uptime, production efficiency, and overall facility performance
Develop, coach, and lead the maintenance team while establishing clear expectations around safety, accountability, and execution
Strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance programs while driving root cause analysis and long-term equipment reliability improvements
Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other functions to resolve equipment issues and support production objectives
Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, controlling maintenance costs, and improving asset performance

Qualifications:

Eight or more years of progressive maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibility
Experience supporting low-mix, high-volume manufacturing operations;
Food & Beverage manufacturing experience preferred
Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment reliability
Demonstrated success leading maintenance teams and improving uptime, productivity, and overall maintenance performance
Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills
