Description Job type:
Full time $25.00 per hour Potential for quarterly bonuses

Shift: Friday–Monday, 11:00 AM–9:30 PM (4/10s schedule)
Tuesday–Saturday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM PRECISION, SPEED, AND TECH – KEEP THE LUGGAGE MOVING!

The Baggage Support supports the safe and efficient operation of automated baggage handling systems while assisting with equipment jams and working under the guidance of control room staff.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A BAGGAGE SYSTEM SUPPORT TECHNICIAN Clear and reset baggage system jams Remove, sort, and transport luggage using baggage utility carts to designated locations

Monitor and communicate baggage system faults to appropriate personnel

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards (e.g., FAA, OSHA)
Manually encode and scan baggage tags at designated stations as needed

Learn to inspect and understand BHS equipment performance under supervision

Exemplify Prime Flight customer service and safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older

Eligible to work in the United States High School Diploma/GED required

Aviation Industry experience a plus

High attention to detail

Provide excellent customer service

Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus

Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including iPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means

Must possess the versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities

Must be able to report to work on a regular, consistent, and timely basis; must be prompt and maintain good attendance

Must possess the ability to be a self-starter, work independently and as a member of various teams

Pass a background check and drug screen

Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal - as applicable)
