Hornig Companies is seeking a responsible, dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Site Manager to lease and maintain our 24-unit property in Mora, MN. This is a flexible part-time position. Free 3 Bedroom Apartment in exchange for duties; living on-site is required.

What would my responsibilities include?
  • Administrative duties, including recertification paperwork.
  • Showing and leasing available apartments
  • Coordinate the move-in/move-out process
  • Manage overall cleanliness of the property, including regular cleaning of the common areas
  • Apartment turnover cleaning
  • Seasonal grounds keeping, including shoveling
  • Light maintenance of the building; for example, changing light bulbs and assisting our Maintenance Technicians during emergencies
  • Work with vendors and the internal maintenance team for timely completion of unit turns, maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance
  • Facilitate all day-to-day operations of the properties as required
  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional rapport with all , applicants, vendors and staff.
  • Take a hands-on approach to any necessary duties to accomplish objectives
  • Communicate with in a caring, compassionate manner that upholds Hornig Companies’ customer service reputation as well as Fair Housing guidelines
  • What should I bring to the team?
    • At least 1 year office and/or administrative experience or similar
    • Customer Service experience is required, prior leasing experience is a plus
    • Strong work ethic and desire to assist our in finding their home with us and maintaining a great place to live
    • Detail and attention to accuracy
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Strong computer skills including MS Office. Yardi software experience
    • Affordable housing experience is a plus
