Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00

This position does not have a set schedule, but allows you to work shifts that fit into your schedule!

• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas following infection control, safety, and procedural guidelines.
• Empty waste baskets, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors using brooms, mops or powered machines.
• Keep storage, equipment and carts well‑stocked, clean and tidy.
• Wear proper protective equipment and follow guidelines.
• Assist with laundry areas as appropriate.
• Use pagers and other technology appropriately.
• Perform physical activities including lifting up to 40‑50 lbs, moving equipment, walking, stooping, twisting, squatting, etc.
• Be available for overtime, call, backup call, nights, days, weekends and holidays as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience helpful.
• Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals helpful.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
