Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Produces/ modifies efficient and logical robot programs for automated applications.
Responsibilities- Obtain an intermediate understanding of robotic path designs.
- Understand air atomized and liquid paint application.
- Have knowledge of process‑related defects.
- Perform maintenance and keep an accurate day‑to‑day repair log of all repairs.
- Assist supervisors in monitoring painted part quality.
- Perform or instruct the duties of the Robot Editors.
- Troubleshoot machine variances to maintain/optimize product quality.
- Maintain OSHA compliance and corporate safety standards within the department and company.
- Evaluate equipment‑related defects and correct programming and paint parameters accordingly.
- Be capable of troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
- Know coordinate synchronous motion.
- Develop, maintain, and update SOPs and Picture Specs.
- Be available for overtime and/or changes in shift times.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to read blueprints and CAD data.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Minimum 2year associate’s degree in an engineering discipline or have obtained an intermediate or higher proficiency rating in 10 of 20 of the Robot Editors skill matrix.
- Robotics Safety, Spray Booth Safety, and LOTO must be among those intermediate ratings.
- Detail oriented.
- Communicate with counterparts and Paint Engineering.
$24.84 – $29.68 per hour
