Per TCU Custodian Contract $23.76/hour + additional stipends for certifications, per contract +.20-.45/hour if possess a boiler/engineer license +.25/hour if possess a Pool Certification (CPO license)

Job Summary:
Responsible to supervise, train, assign, oversee and inspect the work of building custodial staff. Make recommendations to the Facilities Director for the procurement of cleaning and maintenance supplies and equipment in accordance with district policies and procedures. Direct and coordinate the daily tasks, job duties and any shift vacancies of the other building custodians. Participate in building/classroom custodial functions such as, but not limited to: daily cleaning of classrooms, cleaning windows, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash hauling, maintenance/cleaning of all building flooring (ex: floor refinishing, carpet cleaning), light bulb replacement and sanitizing restrooms.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education development certificate (GED) Valid MN Driver's license required Possess State of MN Dept of Labor License applicable to the boiler capacity for all district buildings with other site specific licensure as needed within 3 years of hire Good physical condition, ability to work in confined areas (ie: boiler room) and the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force with no physical restrictions Five years of supervisory experience in a public or commercial setting, preferred Experience working with school district maintenance, procedures, methods and policies Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and appropriate dress and appearance Personal attributes necessary for working within a team setting and creating an inviting and welcoming environment Knowledge of computer programs and willingness to learn specific systems used within the district (ex: electronic maintenance request system)
