Lead with purpose. Make a difference every day. Glenwood Retirement Village is looking for a Supervisor of Environmental Services to lead our Maintenance Department. If you're a hands-on leader who takes pride in keeping buildings safe, efficient, and well-maintained, we'd love to have you join our team!
As a member of our leadership team, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Schedule & Pay- $25.00-$30.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Full-time | 80 hours per pay period
- Monday-Friday | 8:00 a.m.
-4:30 p.m. - Every 3rd weekend rotation
- On-call every 3rd week
- Lead and support the Maintenance Department.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and daily work orders.
- Ensure the safe operation of building systems, including:
- HVAC
- Boilers
- Electrical systems
- Fire alarm systems
- Emergency generators
- Security access systems
- Resident pendant/call systems
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and life safety standards.
- Coordinate vendor services and facility improvement projects.
- Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

As a Supervisor of Environmental Services, you ll take the lead in creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents and staff. You ll oversee the maintenance team, manage building systems and safety protocols, and ensure that everything from HVAC systems to entryways runs smoothly. As part of the site leadership team, you ll play a vital role in upholding Glenwood Retirement Village s high standards and making our spaces feel like home.
Asa Supervisor Of Environmental Services, You Will
- Lead Maintenance & Systems Oversight
- Ensure smooth operation of all facility systems including boilers, HVAC, electrical, fire alarms, emergency generators, security access, and pendant alarms. Manage work orders and regularly inspect and document equipment performance. - Supervise Environmental Team
- Hire, train, schedule, and mentor a high-performing team. Support professional development and ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to Glenwood Retirement Village s standards. - Coordinate Vendor Services & Contract Work
- Secure bids, recommend vendors, and manage third-party contractors, ensuring timely completion and budget alignment. Maintain inventory of supplies and oversee safe storage and usage. - Promote & Maintain a Safe Environment
- Lead life safety programs, oversee MSDS sheets, conduct regular fire and weather drills, and participate in the community s Safety Committee. Ensure tools and systems are maintained and safety procedures are followed. - Collaborate with Site Leadership
- Partner with the Executive Director and fellow managers to support daily operations, proactive planning, and a positive culture. Participate in budget planning and contribute to the overall success of the community. - Other Duties as Assigned

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technical training required.
- Current 2nd Class C Minnesota Boiler Operator’s License
- Valid driver s license
