2nd Shift Maintenance/Custodial Position

Windom Area Schools is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance/Custodial position for the school district. This is a 12-month full-time position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of custodial cleaning practices
• Special boiler license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Ability to follow general cleaning & sanitizing procedures
• Ability to work independently/take direction
• Be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. frequently
• Be able to maintain a clean/pleasant environment
• Must be familiar with electronic means of communication (emails, text messaging, radios, etc.)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in facility management preferred
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field

SALARY RANGE:

Union contract hourly range based on education, experience, and qualifications: $18.15 - $21.63 The following hourly range is based on the  school year union contract; these amounts will be subject to change/increase once the new contract is settled.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

• 1st Class C Boiler License or ability to obtain within 3 years of hire
