Culinary Services Aide I
The Culinary Services Aide I ensures kitchen equipment is cleaned, food orders are prepared according to patient needs, dining rooms are set up and cleaned, and food carts are delivered. Compensation We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations.
The hourly wage range for this position is $14.81–$20.91. This range reflects the base wage for this position.
- Washes, sanitizes and stores dishware, silverware, pots and pans and trays.
- Checks patients' food order for accuracy according to diet needs prior to delivery.
- Supports aides in the kitchen and café as needed.
- Washes and sanitizes tables in the cafeteria and counters in the vending area.
- Delivers food carts to various departments.
- Stores and rotates food and supplies in unit refrigerators and freezers.
- Monitors and records temperatures of cooler, milk and coffee.
- Must be at least 16 years of age; high-school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read, write and speak English; follow verbal and written directions, complete simple calculations.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand the majority of shift
- Varying Days/Shifts
- Typical shift hours available: 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m, 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Casual employees are required to work a minimum of three shifts per month
- Eligible for Shift Differential Pay in addition to base wage
- Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) accrued on first paycheck
