Taylor Corporation is looking for a Janitorial and General Maintenance Worker in our North Mankato-MN facility.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
• Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
• Replace light bulbs, filters, and ceiling tiles
• Assist with HVAC filter changes and basic system checks
• Conduct routine facility inspections and/or identify repair needs
• Repair doors, locks, handles, and other hardware
• Paint and patch walls as needed
• Set up and break down equipment or furniture for meetings and events
• Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance (if applicable)
• Assist as backup for warehouse activity following forklift certification

Requirements within this position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16 - 20. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
