Maintenance Technician Lead

Agropur is seeking a Maintenance Technician Lead to support our dairy manufacturing operations. In this hands-on role, you will lead and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing and packaging equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and help reduce downtime. You will coordinate daily work, support planned shutdowns, and ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and GMP standards. Partnering with production, quality, and engineering, you will drive continuous improvement while mentoring maintenance technicians in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment in a dairy manufacturing plant
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime
• Coordinate daily work assignments, prioritize maintenance requests, and support planning of scheduled shutdowns
• Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and GMP standards while maintaining detailed maintenance records
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades
• Train, mentor, and guide maintenance technicians and operators on equipment care and basic troubleshooting
