A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSEKEEPER

As a Housekeeper at River Oaks of Minnesota, you are on the front line of maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. Your responsibilities include:

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, common areas, and assigned facility spaces to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Follow established sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures in accordance with facility standards.
  • Restock housekeeping carts and maintain proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or resident concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist with linen changes, trash removal, and floor care (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming) as assigned.
  • Support a positive resident experience by responding courteously to requests and maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure facility cleanliness and quality standards are consistently met.
