Associate Housekeeper - Support Services

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across healthcare facilities in the Midwest region by performing essential housekeeping and laundry duties. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by ensuring all areas are orderly and hygienic, contributing to a positive experience for everyone.

• Apply a thorough seven-step cleaning process to patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and common areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Perform dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, linen changes, and supply replenishment as needed.
• Manage linen processing tasks including sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing clean linens while maintaining inventory and quality assurance.
• Inspect surgical linens for defects and perform necessary maintenance such as mending or liquid barrier testing.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of assigned equipment and promptly report any repair needs.
• Adhere to departmental policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures to protect patients and staff.
• Demonstrate courteous and professional communication with all customers and team members, fostering a cooperative and supportive work environment.
• Report safety concerns, incidents, and maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities as required.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or related support services is advantageous.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy standards.
• Ability to work a full-time day shift from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist team members to achieve departmental goals.
