Job Description SummaryThe Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move‑in, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention to residents.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES- Prepare market‑ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping.
- Complete resident service requests in a timely manner.
- Have knowledge of plumbing, pool maintenance, air conditioning, heating, carpentry, appliances, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety issues.
- Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks to keep them clean, free of trash, debris, and safety hazards.
- Perform on‑call emergency procedures as required.
- Report maintenance issues that affect the budget, such as life‑safety, vacant repairs, property damages, and common‑area needs.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and record such activities.
- Be knowledgeable of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems regarding maintenance.
- Attend training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield and local city and state jurisdictions.
- Provide superior customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
- Work any shift Sunday–Saturday to support business needs.
- Know safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
- Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with various units of measure, fractions, decimals, and interpret bar graphs.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Hold required certifications: CPO if required, EPA 608 minimum Type II, or local city required certification.
- Follow all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- EPA 608 – Minimum Type II, or CPO, or local city required certificate.
This role operates in a professional office environment and requires traveling between properties in varying weather conditions. The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSStand and walk for extended periods, ascend and descend stairways, ladders, and step stools, travel outside between buildings up to 10 % of the time, and lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 100 pounds occasionally or frequently. Operates office machinery and spends approximately 85 % of the time sitting or standing.

Compensation$29.75 – $35.00 per hour, payable to guarantee at least minimum wage.
