Maintenance Assistant

Overview

Opened in 2018, Amira Choice Minnetonka is a 100 unit community that offers Independent and Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Our location is near Ridgedale Mall, St Louis Park, and Highways 394 and 494, with access to public transportation. Managed by Ebenezer, we strive to heal, discover, and educate for longer, healthier, meaningful lives. Oversees Resident Centered Care.

• Repairs and maintains the physical structure and grounds. This includes the following:
• Repair items found deficient by maintenance or requested by work orders.
• Change filters and check belts on air handling units.
• Check kitchen equipment.
• Grease, check belts and oils on laundry equipment.
• Help in housekeeping as requested.
• Assist with moving boxes, furniture, etc.
• Maintain shop in a clean and orderly manner.
• Remove snow from sidewalks and walkways and apply ice melt on sidewalks as needed (where applicable).
• Trim around bushes, trees, and sidewalks.
• Remove debris and downed palm fronds (where applicable).
• Keep grounds safe and looking neat and attractive.
• Process work orders and perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist with turnover of apartments for new residents.

• 1 year of experience (in relevant field)
• Experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems
• Driver's License

• High School Diploma/GED

An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by factors such as skills, knowledge, education, experience, and market conditions. The organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making offers. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
