The City of Minot is accepting applications for the position of Building & Grounds Worker for the Minot Public Library, with an Final date to receive applications of Friday, February 27th 2026.
Nature of Work
This is a manual and semi-skilled custodial and grounds work in the care, cleaning and maintenance of the Minot Public Library and property. Work is performed under the general direction of a supervisor on-duty.
75-90% of time works a regular schedule including every Saturday, with a 7:00 AM start.
10-25% of time works irregular shifts (special projects such as cleaning carpet and waxing floors, weather changes, etc.).

Education, Experience, Other Requirements
* Graduation from high school and practical knowledge of, or some experience in, building maintenance and groundskeeping work, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
* Possession of a valid North Dakota driver license.
Compensation and Benefits
* The assigned salary range for Library Building & Grounds Worker is $21.48- $31.89 per hour which is a salary range of $48,118- $71,432.
* This is a full time, FLSA non-exempt position eligible for overtime.
* This is a fully benefitted position.
