Part Time Grounds Assistant - Summer

Position: Part Time Grounds Assistant - Summer 2026
Minot State is looking for a Part-time Summer Grounds Assistant.

Duties Include:

* Weed whipping with electric and gas string trimmer

* Cutting grass with push and riding mowers

* Trimming trees and raking leaves

* Planting flowers, weeding flowerpots, and flower beds

* Using electric and gas blowers to clean rock beds and other areas of campus

* May assist in maintenance duties

* Other duties as assigned.

Work detail is outside in varying weather conditions, temperatures, and on varying terrain. Applicants should be able to work independently and as a team with minimal supervision. Employees may occasionally be tasked with other duties on campus including helping with custodial and other facilities maintenance.
