Position Description
Maintenance worker
Qualifications- Properly licensed to operate a motor vehicle.
- Practical experience in maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift 55 pounds to shoulder height occasionally.
- Ability to push / pull a minimum of 20 pounds frequently.
Reports To: Director of Maintenance
Terms of Employment: As established by NBCSD School Board
Essential Job Functions- Assists the Maintenance Director with stated responsibilities.
- Assists with emergency and routine repairs and maintenance.
- Assists with maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Provides guidance for the improvement of district grounds.
- Assists in scheduling personnel responsibilities.
- Demonstrates a high level of personal integrity and high ethical standards.
- Maintains punctuality and attendance.
- Performs as a team player on other duties as may be assigned.
- Dress and grooming should be appropriate.
- Performs other responsibilities/duties as designated by the Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent, Director of Maintenance and/or the Superintendent's designee.
