Facility Maintenance

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility, including production areas, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and exterior entrances. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and helps create a clean environment that supports efficient and safe manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, office areas, gym and other areas as requested.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors throughout the facility.
• Empty trash cans, recycling containers, shred bins, and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as needed/requested.
• Maintain cleanliness in production area offices and restrooms without interfering with manufacturing operations.
• Replenish paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and other janitorial supplies as needed.
• Operate vacuum cleaner and other cleaning equipment safely.
• Clean spills promptly and safely using proper procedures.
• Report safety issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment promptly.
• Follow all company safety policies.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Assist with facility setup and cleanup for meetings or special events.
• Perform other general housekeeping and facility-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be dependable with excellent attendance.
