Facilities Technician III - Temporary

At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA.

With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.

The Facilities Technician III is a mid-to-senior level technical role responsible for maintaining building systems, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring safe, reliable facility performance across the site. This position supports daily operations, preventative maintenance, and emergency response as part of the facilities team.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility systems
• Support manufacturing equipment infrastructure and utilities
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and general building systems
• Respond to facility service requests and operational issues
  
  Support emergency response and incident command activities
• Assist with vendor coordination and project work
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Support multi-building operations as the site grows

• 3–7+ years of facilities, maintenance, or technical trade experience
• Strong skills in one or more trades: e lectrical, HVAC, p lumbing, m echanical systems
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or campus environments
• Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset
• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Cross-trade experience (electrical + HVAC, etc.)
• OSHA or technical certifications
• Experience with CMMS or work order systems

The target base pay for this position is $27-$37/hr the compensation package will be determined by job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
