Position Overview

As part of our dedicated team, the Quarry Operator performs assigned tasks while maintaining situational awareness and a level of proficiency that minimizes the risk of personal injury or property damage.

* Operate splitter with assistant to maneuver pieces of raw material in position to break apart with splitter

* Palletize finished product

* Tie off and properly tag finished pallets

* Maintain a safe and orderly workplace per MSHA regulations

* Band pallets of finished product using banding device

Skills We Are Seeking

* Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds or more

* Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.

* Experience in the landscape, hardscape, forestry, nursery, or irrigation industry is a plus

* Ability to read and write to record daily logs and maintain daily equipment checklists

* High school diploma or equivalent
