Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record - no excessive tickets and/or loss of license in the past 5 years.
- Experience working with various types of equipment including pumps, generators, wrenches, shovels, drain spades, drills, backhoes, dump trucks, sewer jet machines, various hand and power tools, etc.
- Ability to apply basic accounting knowledge and principles, such as fractions, percentages, ratios, etc.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions using tact and diplomacy from city staff, general public, supervisors, vendors, co-workers, etc.
- Ability to be on-call for a 7-day period, including weekend rounds based on a 4-person rotating schedule. Must have the flexibility to respond to after-hour emergency callouts.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
