Role OverviewAs a Maintenance Technician at Perimeter Behavioral Health, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, functional, and therapeutic environment for our patients and staff. This position combines technical expertise with a commitment to safety and quality in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities Facility Maintenance- Sheetrock repair and painting
- Light fixture maintenance and bulb replacement
- Ceiling tile maintenance
- Carpet cleaning and floor care
- Playground equipment safety checks
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly
- Conduct and document regular HVAC system audits
- Perform routine electrical system inspections
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and audit reports
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
- Monitor building systems for optimal performance
- Parking lot maintenance
- Snow and ice removal
- Lawn care and landscaping
- Playground equipment inspection
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely
- Follow all facility safety protocols
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Ensure proper storage of tools and equipment
- Report safety concerns promptly
- Maintain compliance with healthcare facility standards
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year commercial building maintenance experience
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Physical ability to lift 60 pounds
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
- HVAC certification
- Experience in healthcare facility maintenance
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Background in commercial electrical systems
- Proficiency in general repairs
- Understanding of HVAC systems
- Basic electrical troubleshooting
- Carpentry and painting skills
