Preventive Maintenance Handyman

Position Overview

We are seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Margaritaville Lake Resort in Osage Beach, MO. This full‑time role involves ensuring guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back‑of‑house areas remain safe, functional, and well maintained. The engineer will work Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. (weekends may be required).

Location:

Osage Beach,MO65065. Pay: $16.50 per hour.

Reports to:

Chief Engineer, Engineering Department. Age Requirement: 18+ years. Must hold a Missouri ClassE driver’s license.

• Assist with maintaining hotel guest rooms, meeting spaces, public and back‑of‑house areas, performing minor and routine maintenance tasks as assigned on a routine checklist.
• Maintain standards of quality guest service.
• Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards.
• Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivering an exceptional product through employee development.
• Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
• Assist in logging and tracking all performed maintenance assignments with supervisors.

• Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the English language and communicate effectively with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to accurately report information.
• Ability to follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
• Projects and assignments completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adjusts to high‑pressure conditions and is open to change.
• Takes responsibility for personal growth and development.
• Conducts himself/herself professionally at all times.

• Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
• High school education and relevant training and experience preferred.

• Minimum lifting/pulling of 50 pounds and requires pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, and manual dexterity.
