Dishwasher / Kitchen Assistant
Location: Stoneridge Creek
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Shift: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM. Varied Days. Weekends and holidays required.
Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour + bonuses + annual pay increases

SUMMARY:
The Utility Worker performs a number of kitchen activities including pot washing, dish washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and nonfood supplies.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:- Cleans kitchen thoroughly daily, including mopping floors at designated times.
- Sets up the dish and pot washing area, and washes pots, dishes and utensils.
- Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
- Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Empties all trash containers in kitchen into dumpster daily.
- Keeps storerooms, freezers and refrigerators clean.
- Mops floors at designated times.
- Stores food and non-food supplies, restocking provisions after deliveries.
- Limited preparations of vegetables and provisions in time of need under direct supervision.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- At least one year experience cleaning commercial kitchens.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
- Ability to set up and operate dish washing equipment.
- This position is essential to the safety of our residents and staff; and to the operation and function of the community. Employee may be recalled to report to work for an emergency, unusual occurrence, resident care need, visit from regulatory/governing agencies or any other event deemed necessary by the Executive Director, Administrator, and designee.
Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor.
Ability to multitask, work on projects while answering phone and greeting visitors.
Must display a friendly, courteous and helpful attitude toward the residents and the public.
Ability to communicate effectively in English. Able to perform simple mathematics and basic knowledge of computer programs.
High School graduate and heavy phone experience preferred.
