• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Professional Cleaning Experience a plus.
• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents and/or guest.
• Must successfully complete thorough background screen.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions and specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments and established housekeeping procedures.
• Removes linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets to launder.
• Pick up and empties trash containers in resident rooms, common spaces, and office areas.
• Clean floors (sweeping, vacuuming, wet/dry mopping).
• Remove dust, dirt, grease, film, etc. from surfaces, using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Keeps walls, windows, ceilings, mirrors, etc. from surfaces, using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Stock bathrooms with soap, towels, and toilet paper.
• Monitor and report necessary repairs.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

To adequately perform the essential functions of the job you must have the physical capabilities to stand, sit, walk for extended lengths of time, push, pull and lift-up to 50 pounds unassisted with frequent and/or carrying objects weighting up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to bend, pull and do repetitive motions daily.
