The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and that relies on everything working well! With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a skilled individual to join the existing maintenance team to service a variety of areas of within the resort.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay $ 16.50 per hour
Age Requirement:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Reports to:
Chief Engineer, Engineering Department
As a maintenance engineer, you will be working on a variety of projects to maintain and develop all areas of the resort. You may often be working in guest areas so a professional and thorough work ethic is required.
Responsibilities- Assist with maintaining hotel, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
- Replace air conditioner filters.
- Requires maintenance of furnace, air conditioner, boiler, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, mechanical, pneumatic/electronic systems & controls, carpentry & finish skills.
- Maintain standards of quality guest service.
- Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards.
- Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.
- Promptly respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
- Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Ability to accurately report information.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
- Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
- Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Conducts him erself, acts and dresses professionally at all times.
- Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission.
- Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
- Actively listens to others.
- Must have a Missouri Class E driver’s license.
- Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
- High school education and relevant training and experience preferred.
- Minimum lifting/pulling of 50 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
