Could you be the full-time Maintenance Team Leader in Willowbrook we’re looking for?
Your future roleTake on a new challenge and apply your maintenance and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and dedicated team of professionals.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our commuter coaches and locomotives are ready to provide reliable, safe, and efficient service. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Equipment Maintainers, Electrical and Mechanical Technicians), plan and organize work schedules, and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and within maintenance guidelines.
You’ll specifically take care of assigning staff to trip, brake tests, and servicing equipment for revenue train service, but also oversee the timely repair and maintenance processes.
- Reviewing workloads and assigning appropriate staff to complete repairs, maintenance, and inspections in a timely fashion
- Monitoring equipment servicing and repairs by auditing staff and completed tasks
- Ensuring appropriate materials are on-site to expedite repairs
- Planning work schedules and assignments to ensure compliance with maintenance guidelines
- Monitoring work order completion using Maximo and managing employee timekeeping using UKG
- Leading and supporting your team to achieve operational excellence

Post-secondary education preferred, but a minimum of Grade 12 is required
Experience or understanding of managing maintenance teams
Knowledge of commuter coach and locomotive repair and maintenance processes
Familiarity with maintenance systems such as Maximo and timekeeping systems like KronosA completed apprenticeship is an asset
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
