This part-time position involves performing daily cleaning duties in patient rooms, ancillary areas, and office spaces, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.

• Clean assigned patient rooms and ancillary areas daily, following proper protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts and janitor closets.
• Use appropriate cleaning agents safely and effectively.
• Complete daily cleaning logs accurately and submit them to supervisors.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or equipment issues promptly to the appropriate department.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic literacy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential. A willingness to learn additional tasks and responsibilities is important.

Previous experience in housekeeping or floor care is helpful but not required; on-the-job training is provided. Candidates with 0-3 months of related experience will be considered.

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Good communication skills and ability to organize work efficiently.
• Physical ability to stoop, bend, reach, twist, lift up to 40 pounds, and push carts weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Basic computer skills.
• Comfort with standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and operate housekeeping equipment.

This role may involve exposure to unpleasant odors, body fluids, infectious diseases, and cleaning chemicals. The environment may include slick or wet floors and areas containing medications.
