Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region as an Assistant Housekeeper. This full-time evening position involves performing daily cleaning duties to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

The Assistant Housekeeper is responsible for routine cleaning tasks following established performance standards, ensuring patient rooms, ancillary areas, and office spaces are kept clean and orderly.

• Clean assigned patient rooms and ancillary areas daily according to procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of office spaces as per policy.
• Use appropriate cleaning agents for assigned tasks.
• Keep housekeeping carts locked, stored properly, and organized.
• Complete daily cleaning sheets accurately and submit to supervisor.
• Report any issues related to cleaning, maintenance, equipment, safety, or facility repairs promptly.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic literacy and ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential. Willingness to learn additional tasks is important.

0-3 months of housekeeping or floor care experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Good communication skills and ability to organize work.
• Physical ability to stoop, bend, reach, twist, lift up to 40 pounds, and push carts weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to safely use cleaning chemicals and operate housekeeping equipment.

May encounter unpleasant odors, body fluids, and potential exposure to infectious diseases. Work environment includes exposure to cleaning chemicals and wet or slick floors. Some areas may contain medications.
