As a Maintenance Worker I, you take charge of daily upkeep and facility repairs to ensure our spaces operate without interruption. • Executes general maintenance tasks to keep buildings and facilities in excellent working order.
• Performs preventive maintenance routines to extend the lifespan of equipment and avoid unexpected breakdowns.
• Operates hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete various repair projects.
• Resolves plumbing issues, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining fixtures.
• Handles basic electrical work, including replacing switches, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Constructs and repairs wooden structures through standard carpentry techniques.
• Applies paint and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces to maintain aesthetic appeal.
• Troubleshoots mechanical and structural problems to determine the root cause and apply effective solutions.
• Maintains exterior property and groundskeeping standards to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
• Follows safety procedures and OSHA guidelines strictly to maintain a secure workplace for all staff and visitors.

• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed
  relevant vocational training or certification in facility maintenance, construction, or a related field (preferred).

• Brings at least one year of hands-on experience in general maintenance or building repairs.
• Demonstrates practical knowledge of residential or commercial repair techniques.

• Applies working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry principles.
• Utilizes various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots facility issues to determine the best course of action.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding project status and safety hazards.
• Adheres strictly to OSHA safety standards and regulations.

• Holds a valid certification in OSHA safety compliance.
• Shows proven experience in commercial building maintenance and groundskeeping.

• Lifts and carries heavy tools and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stands
  , walks, bends, and kneels for extended periods during shifts.
• Works in various weather conditions when performing outdoor groundskeeping and exterior maintenance.
• Climbs ladders and scaffolding safely to reach high work areas.
