Maintenance Technician

Location: Del Rey, CA

Schedule: Full Time | Monday-Friday | 40 hours per week

We are currentlyseekinga
skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician
to helpmaintain a 48-unit apartment community in Del Rey, CA This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and values creating a safe and well-maintained environment for residents.

Experience with
general building maintenance and landscaping
is preferred, and experience with
affordable housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD)is a plus.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will help ensure the property is well maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Performing
  general maintenance tasks including painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
• Assisting with
  preventative maintenance to ensure building systems remain in good working condition
• Maintaining the
  grounds and landscaping to support strong curb appeal
• Assisting with
  annual apartment inspections and identifying maintenance needs
• Working with the Property Manager to coordinate vendors and order supplies
• Maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and staff
• Reporting lease or house rule violations when observed
• Responding appropriately to
  emergency maintenance situations
• Following company policies and procedures

• Computer literacy (Outlook, Teams, Work Order Ticketing System)
• Professionalism and strong listening skills
• Experience with subsidized housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, or RD) is helpful
• General building maintenance skills including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
• General groundskeeping and landscaping experience

• Reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Access to a
  personal smartphone
  with email, messaging, and app functionality (usage reimbursed)
• Valid driver's licence required
