COURSE DESCRIPTION
:
Welding Safety (29101) – Covers safety equipment, protective clothing, and procedures applicable to the cutting and welding of metals.
Reading Welding Detail Drawings (29202) – Identifies and explains welding detail drawings. Describes lines, fills, object views, and dimensioning on drawings. Explains how to use notes on drawings and the bills of materials.
SMAW Electrodes (29108) – Describes the SMAW electrode classification system and how to select the proper electrode for the task. Explains how to select electrodes and describe their proper care, handling, and storage.

Mobile, Alabama
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must be eligible to work in the US.

This class does not provide enough training to secure employment.
