  M–F 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (25 hours per week)

• Clean and maintain buildings and grounds to ensure neatness and cleanliness.
• Wash, fold, and store laundry and linens for emergency shelter program.
• Assist public in unloading and carrying donations or other items.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors.
• Empty trash cans regularly and collect trash from the grounds.
• Stock and sort janitorial supplies.
• Assist in setting up meeting rooms with tables and chairs.
• May drive Salvation Army vehicle to pick up/deliver items or transport passengers.

• Work performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors.
• Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform housekeeping work, including continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing.

• No formal education or experience required.
• Six months of experience performing general housekeeping duties.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
