Job Summary

The primary function of the Field Service Representative position is to maintain and expand the company’s business base by maximizing profitability of assigned customer accounts in Central California. The representative will use service expertise and technical knowledge in the water treatment industry to recommend and apply basic water treatment applications and solutions, and communicate program results to sales managers and customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Project a professional image of the company through a positive attitude and punctual, reliable attendance at all appointments
  • Follow all legal safety regulations and procedures set forth by the company and customers
  • Participate in delivery and installation of systems at customer sites
  • Work on‑site to provide routine, day‑to‑day service and determine if the water treatment program is operating within optimal ranges
  • Check, clean, and adjust equipment; document findings and analysis of conditions in detailed reports
  • Travel locally as expected, with approximately 2% outside the assigned region
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge to provide sound water treatment recommendations to customers
  • Perform general warehouse duties: receive product deliveries, maintain inventory, and manage cleaning and disposal procedures
  • Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of experience in technical service
  • Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical industry
  • Knowledge of the agricultural industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to learn internal business systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude
  • Ability to understand and learn technical properties and functionality of the product portfolio
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision; effectively plan, organize, and execute activities
  • Possession of a current, valid California driver’s license and adherence to company standards for operating a motor vehicle
  • Ability to physically provide service at customer facilities within a wide range of environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in technical service
Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
