School Custodian/Maintenance
General Description Under supervision of the Superintendent, the school custodian/maintenance performs routine cleaning work on assignments in the district; does assigned maintenance at district sites; minor construction and repair on school buildings and grounds; performs a wide variety of skilled maintenance repairs; and performs other related work as required and assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications High School Diploma or High School Equivalent Certificate Experience in custodial and building/grounds maintenance work Any combination equivalent to sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above.
Comments and Other Information Fingerprint check and TB test must be successfully completed by the first day of service. Must have a valid driver's license, maintain insurability, and allow access to have a DMV Pull notice annually. First Aid/CPR certificates must be acquired and renewed as required. Must obtain/maintain any mandated certifications or training as needed.
