Field Service Technician - Mokena, IL; PM Shift

The Field Service Technician I will perform functions related to product readiness for patient utilization on a wide range of rental and customer owned medical products. This position requires operating a fleet vehicle in a safe manner, providing 24/7 delivery, removal, and service support for products in service centers and customer accounts in a timely and professional manner.

• The field service team works within hospital and service setting environments to repair medical devices.

• Perform electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic system troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Use appropriate tools to make required adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.
• Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
• Safely operate box truck vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Basic mathematical skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• Technical or Trade School training.
• DOT physical card (assistance provided).
• Experience with FDA regulated products.
• Experience in customer service.

• Must wear personal protective equipment including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves and protective clothing.
• Frequently work in environments where biohazards could be present; e.g., hospitals, service centers, and depots.

The salary range for this position is $43,200-$59,400.
