Field Service Metrologist - HPLC UPLC - Moline, IL Field Service Metrology Technician Metrologist Analytical Laboratory Instrumentation High Performance Liquid Chromatographs HPLC Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatographs UPLC _ . Support Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometers, High Performance Liquid Chromatographs, Gas Chromatographs, Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometers, Ion Spectrometers, and TOF Mass Spectrometers, by providing installation, repair and maintenance services at customer sites. Responsibilities:
• Service full suite of analytical systems from manufacturers such as Agilent, Shimadzu, Dionex, Thermo-Fisher, Waters, etc.
• Conduct repairs including mechanical, electrical, and software support; on-site problem diagnosis; preventative maintenance; and upgrades to board level.
• Coordinate schedule for on-site preventative maintenance and equipment installations.
• Document service procedures for repairs, installation, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate regularly with users and system administrators to report machine status and provide end user and administrator training.
• Update service and client databases, and provide regular updates on client status.
